My name is Ryan Pote and I have been playing since about 1997. This is when I was first introduced to the sport by a few of my neighbors and is also the same time I bought a Brass Eagle Stingray II. Unlike my fellow players at the time, I couldnt stand the slow paced pump markers that were ever so common back then. Once I realized that I was completely addicted to the sport I couldn't help myself, I just had to have something that shot more balls with more accuracy. This would turn out to be a red Kingman Spyder Shutter. I stuck with this marker for a few years until I felt it was time to go electro. After searching the internet for the best marker I could afford I found just what I was looking for. It just so happens it was the marker that would set the paintball world on fire. It was a yellow to red fade Bob Long "Classic" Intimidator. I could not have been happier with this marker. Around this time we played in a few scenario games as well as a few local tournaments. Being the marker whore that I am I just had to have something else. For this I went with something totally different in a used 2k2 WGP Autococker from 68caliber paintball. It worked alright but just wasn't that great of a performer and would later be turned into a half-blocked pump cocker.. In the past few years FHC has started some project markers. One of these would be our team edition E-Cockers. They include some of the best upgrades ever produced for the autococker. In the past year I have purchased 4 more Intimidators, 3 of which are project markers. The other Intimidator would be the newest of the Bob Long line, a white and red 2006 Empire2.
One of the things I have learned from playing throughout the last decade is that I hate sitting around and long balling. I am very agressive when I have to be and I love to sling large amounts of paint. Eventhough I play as a back player in speedball, you will regularly find me on the front lines in large scenario games. The only things you will not be likely to see me do is cower behind a bunker and do the insane slides that Pepple is so fond of, after all us big boys just dont get down like that.
I have recently also gotten married to Kayleigh Jo, a fellow member of FHC.
